
Rebecca’s responsibilities include account coordination, media relations, event planning and research.
Most recently Rebecca served as the primary contact and media relations manager for the Pennsylvania Environmental Council’s effort to promote recreation on the Tidal Delaware River as well as the organization’s effort to secure National Recreation Area designation by the National Parks Service.
Prior to that Rebecca was involved in the planning and execution of The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Sudoku National Championship, the country’s largest puzzle competition which attracted more than 1,200 participants from across the country and set a Guinness World Record.
Previously, Rebecca worked for Advanta Corporation as both a communications and marketing specialist. She was involved with planning sponsorships of events and conferences and her responsibilities included strategic planning, media relations, and event planning. Rebecca later served as a marketing specialist, working on the creative side of direct mail and alternate media campaigns.
Rebecca graduated from Lehigh University in May 2004 where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Currently, she serves on the Board of Students Run Philly Style, is a member of Project H.O.M.E.’s Young Friends Event Committee and is Chair of the Alumnae Athletic Committee for Springside School.
